| Hey guys, I'm at kind of a low point in my life right now. I feel talentless, weak emotionally, lonely, and just have a hopeless feeling about things getting better. I was hoping to find an anime (or manga even) that has the main character who is in a similar situation as I am, but works his way out of it either through sheer willpower or the help of a pivotal person they meet in the show. Perhaps a show like this would motivate me and give me more hope, and I am easily influenced by characters in anime. |
| Clannad (After Story especially) Kaze no Stigma (Not so much depressed in the anime all the time, but at some times, and when they show backstory) Sankarea (This one may be good, she was trapped by her dad basically, but the MC tries to show her normal life) Sola Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy (I think this one fits, been a while) Kotonoha no Niwa (45 min OVA) Grisaia (He helps them get over their problems, and i havent seent he second season, but heard its good) Fortune Arterial (He gave up on meeting people, because he was always moving, but at the new school, he reconnects) Kotoura san (This is a good one for you i think) Legend of the Legendary Heroes (Maybe) |

I know you would think it is boring and simpleat first. But stick with it until the end its really good. Everything thereafter was how he persevered to righteously redeem himself through willpower and friends. Don't judge this doujin by its cover, I can vouch it'll be an amazing read. (Refer to its reviews although I won't guarantee they'll be spoilerless) |
