| Also, I'd rather not see people shooting me, having the gun at the start of the game where we have no clues would be pretty bad. I'd kill one mafia (Hime) and then would be left with not much else to go. Not to mention shooting me would imply losing one townie. |

| It's hard to get a read on certain players due to inactivity >.< Anywho, I think the goal is definitely to shoot mafia. While I understand wanting to give the chance to others to be a gunbearer, it makes no sense to have a pointless town death and increase the mafia's chances. So try to shoot someone who is suspect, but if flips town would make a good gunbearer. I'm on my laptop instead of my desktop (where my list of players notes are) so I'll have to post my thoughts latter. >.< Despite what grave says, I see little reason for Soren to play that sloppily in the beginning of the game. I still stand by what I said before that the mafia are the ones who are either asking to be shot or the ones been overly defensive when accused each for a different reason. The first one is simple if you ask to be shot it shows a lack of fear of the gunbeare which means that they know it will not harm them and so the gunbearer will not shoot them out of fear of them been town and killing themselfs. The people who have done this are mainly lupa and Soren and maybe a couple of others but these are the main ones. It is likely these are also the vengeful mafia because if the plan does backfire at least they kill a townie as well. Onto the second group which are those who act over defensive when accused they is no reason to react in such a way if town since as I said most townies will want the gun and not care if someone dies to get it. Mafia will of course have reason to care since if they are shot it is all over this will be the normal mafia who have no adv with dying which vengeful have. To carry on a good idea would be to shoot people that are always agrueing with each other because it is likely mafia will interact more with each other because that way if one dies the other will get some town rep and be less likely to be shot so lupa and hime are both good examples of this and also Soren at the start of the game. But to finish it off as I said as gunbearer trust your own judgement and make your own choices mafia are going to try and trick you to killing who they want and that will include each other because of the vengeful mafia roles and it will give them good town rep. The vengeful mafia are likely to be trolling in this game and trying to get shot espically when a strong player has the gun who could be a problem to them. This is all specluation because depending on who is mafia they will play a different way this is not a normal game so they are many approuchs for mafia to take in this I have listed a couple but they will be many more. |

| I have re-read the entire thing, but the list of suspects only keeps on increasing, it's like the mafia is trying to point out each and every small mistake which normally wouldn't be noticed. I think shooting the person who is trying to gain your trust is better than shooting the most suspicious person. In this game, mafia's are the ones trying too hard. In this game, most of the townies has pretty much no motivation to identify the Mafia, this is because they don't get killed the usual way. I'm guessing most of the mind set would be, it doesn't matter if I get shot, I won't be killed. What you(GB) think is most important in this game, do what you want to do. |

I just catched up pretty fast, so it's kinda hard to distinguish things and this is mostly based on overall impressions. From your short list: Mkim - really not doing much. I think I only played him once before where he did the same as scum, but its hard to tell if he is not just mostly like that. Controversy - Seems cryptic as usual, though I think its true like others said that he is trolling more than usual. Hard to read for me. Saya - few, but very insightful posts. Feels like a shot in the dark for feeling to detached from the action and like an observer, but has the upside that she would be a good gunbearer. Hime - yeah, that incident at the start. After that seems to be playing very laid back mostly. Her defensive reaction, while not feeling great, was something she did as town before, so I'm slightly leaning town for now. Her not fully answering my question was eh though with that inconsistency about Soren. Lupa - Lol, yeah, that. Well, mostly tunneling hime and now interacting with turtle about stuff. Could be mafia. benefit would be that if he is that hime is most likely not, if he is not, I think he makes a decent gunbearer, too. Like grave mentioned, I personally think maybe Rumanshi would be a good choice. He is hard to read with the oneliner posts, though if he turns out town, he should be a good gunbearer, too. |
