| I know Demonbane references his work like crazy. It takes place in Arkham city and one of the characters is a physical manifestation of the Necronomicon, among other things. There's also an anime adaptation of The Dunwich Horror and Other Stories |

| This might sound crazy, but Digimon has a lot of Lovecraft references. Basically, because Chiaki Konaka was the head writer for the 3rd series - Digimon Tamers. He was a guest writer for the previous series called Adventure 02, his episode involves a Cthulhu shapped Dagomon and the Deep Ones-like Scubamon. Konaka is a Cthulhu Mythos writer who was also the screenwriter for Serial Experiments Lain. He exposed his love for Lovecraft in many of his works, some of the references are just name dropping, though. I recommend you to start with Digimon Tamers, I think it is very Lovecraftian (the final enemy in the series). Other his works: Ghost Hound (I'm watching it right now, it's a great series), The Big O, Serial Experiment Lain, Texhnolyze, Mononoke. |
