I would ask for a mobile version of the site but I feel like that's a lot for a simple user to ask for. That being said, if a moble friendly version of this forum could be created that would be awsome. That being said it would be selfish of me to ask this and not try to help so I am in the process of learning what is required of a WAP site.

Mod Edit: Modified title for clarity and/or easier searching.

Lol so im guessing thats a no then?

Edit: Damn, Im never going to be able to get my post count up lmao. But really, the site is awsome, and im always referring to it. I imagine that a bit more traffic could be generated with a mobile version.

I think that if we were to make either a mobile app for this then that would make editing ones MAL much easier especially if they don't read series on a computer or if they watch series on a TV. Additionally I think that having a mobile version of the forums would also help with easier access for users. I know that the vforums template allows for customizable themes and a mobile.theme can be implemented with that system.

Doesn't MAL already have (unofficial) apps for iOS and android?

:O We do?! Ah then it was the unofficial ones. I wasn't too sure how useful they would be, but I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, those apps are for viewing/editing your anime/manga lists, not for forum browsing though.

Also, I don't think it'd be quite easy to switch over to a new forum structure in a snap.

Just this once, I'll fulfill whatever your wish is.

Most of the time I use MAL on mobile. It takes ages to load pages, click links and write posts, and all mobile apps are for the anime list only, which is really annoying. It would be great if there was a mobile version of the website / Android app for the forums.

It indeed has been suggested many times before, but the FAQ nor the sticky in this forum board reject the idea. Seemingly, they even approve it. However, after digging deeper, it's not hard to see that they are referring to list-only mobile apps. As for the forums, we are still waiting for a fan-made app to be made, but it supposedly is in the process of being built.

You're not the only one. Though I still browse the web version on my phone.

Yes you are the only one and in fact you are the only one to have ever suggested this, ever.

You're* :)

We all need it, OP. The ads are extremely annoying, especially they have started to incerase in size, stretching all the page, like wtf
