| +1 for Darker than Black, FMA, Hellsing and Gurren Lagann. Another would be Kill La Kill (if you don't mind the exposure, it's got a ton of badassery) and Psycho Pass might fit the bill too. |
| + Gurren Lagann there are many sport anime which have a badass moment when the protagonist is almost to lose. KnB, Hajime no Ippo and Slam Dunk. They will have new moves, which get you off guard and you will love them. But if you're not into the sport genre, i would recommend afro samurai and hellsing. |
