| I thought it was blatantly obvious she liked him..her "knight in shining armor" was Tenma..She went through a lot to see him on numerous occasions Their relationship was well written and grew over the course of the anime.. Leaving it ambiguous is probably a good thing so you yourself can interpret what they are.. So yea Anna was a love interest but a good character as well so it balanced out and was sometimes subtle |

| I am actually happy that there wasn't any romance. Not every male and female characer needs to get together, sometimes platonic relationships can be meaningful too. |
