| Darker Than Black, two seasons and a mid-season of 4 episodes (they are OVA, but made to explain what happens between the two seasons). Deep story, and a really enjoyable anime. |

| Id say Anohana and Clannad got me as close to crying as ill probably ever be so i would recommend those. Very easy to connect with the characters and the story |

| You'll cry in the first episode of Cross Game. It remains emotional throughout, but the first episode is stunning. Kemono no Sou-ja Erin has some pretty heart-wrenching scenes, especially episode seven. |
