| The first time you play through a VN, you should tend to pick the choices you would genuinely pick yourself. That's what I do and I tend to get quite a lot of enjoyment that way. Once you have done that, then you should have a look at finding a walkthrough to get those pesky routes. Least you will waste some time doing that for someone to make one up. |

My first route was Yumiko's and I still had the following decision made without getting on her route instead. Without reading the walkthrough, I assume that the route must either be unlocked or I should have . @ topic: actually, I don't know why one would need a walkthrough for this since it's very easy to see if you save at the decision points and try it out for yourself, whether the chapter name will be different after the end of the current chapter in the save menu. The only thing I'm not sure about, is whether a certain heroine called requires to be unlocked by at least another route or by . edit: @ Riptos: this is also how I usally do this, however I got fed up with CrossXChannel at one point that I've forced myself to play through the recommended order mentioned in the walkthrough on my second try. Other than that it's usually 1) what I would pick, 2) the character I've found the most sympathetic at the time and the rest crossed with a route from one pair or group of friends and the next one frome the other and so on. |

| That's surprising, because I would have rather assumed that Makina, Michiru or even Amane would tick off the one or other here. And in the first place, if you don't like her, it shouldn't be difficult to pick the choices for the other characters, although I wouldn't skip a character's route just because I feel antipathetic against the character, since the route might still be great. |
