| Wasn't Mikasa the one that was considered to be too perfect in Attack on Titan? Yeah it bugged me, but so did the all the other dull and lifeless characters in the show. A shame since everything else was promising for the most part. |

| Most "perfect" characters usually have some inner flaw within them, hence the term "broken ace" (search TVTropes). If a character is perfect without any kind of inner flaws, they're just boring for me and don't really add anything much. |

| Plain OP MC is plain! The same goes for characters in romance-harem anime...if they get everything without effort, they tend to be boring for me. Mahouka is simply on a whole new level...it's so bad that it's almost good. I guess it is somewhat a challenge to produce each week a 24-minutes episode where the MC stomps and annihilates everything and everyone on his path without a drop of sweat. |

| Well I don't hate perfect characters considering that among the tons of anime that I've watched Kirito from SAO is the only character that I've heard to be a Gary Stu.. you see.. among the hundreds of anime that I've watched I've seen something different.. why would I hate that? I'd rather something unique than something over the top cliche shit. Besides, anime is fiction. Ain't no such thing as realistic anime nor realistic anime character. No matter how hard you look every anime contains something unrealistic.. even in the SoL genre. Now then, if I want to see something realistic why would I watch anime?.. why would you? There are tons of reality t.v shows out there.. |
