| I think that the same happens to girls who constantly watch romance, and I'm not just referring to anime, although it's essentially the same thing in most mediums of entertainment... Plain girl with not extraordinary qualities manages to woo this dark, mysterious attractive guy and he loves her unconditionally and "treats her like a princess". Almost all the girls I know love things like this since they can relate to the heroine, and I think that by doing so they build up very high, unrealistic expectations for a future partner hoping one day that someone will love them like these girls in the stories are loved. |

| Well the only reason I started watching yaoi was because a friend of mine said that my relationship with my boy friend was like a yaoi (I told her how we got together, its a long story so i wont talk about it) and she was right, its pretty much the same (i only watched romantica and hatsukoi) the only thing that is not the same is that they don't prepare before they make love, they just do it whenever they want but in real life if two guys want to do it they gotta do a few preparations before they do the deed.
