| Most likely to seem nice to that person or they expect a complimentary comment in return on their own pic. Here's what I like to think though: It's said that most women like to compliment women uglier than themselves, so they can feel they're worthy of even more compliments. On the other hand, when they see a woman prettier than themselves, they feel the need to point out that woman's flaws and make her out to be uglier than she is. It's all so that they can be pretty in their eyes and in other people's eyes. |

| That's not limited to fb. A lot of teenage girls hang out with less attractive girls to make themselves look more attractive. They'd call their "friend" pretty and all sorts of things. Of course that's not true for everyone but I met a couple of those examples. |
