The population is growing. In order to have meat, we need animals. In order to have animals, we need a place for them to stay. here in Brazil, the main reason for cutting trees is to create places for animals to stay and make meat.

But, in the future, we are going to count with more than 10 billions of people. There won't be space for both humans and animals. Meat is either going to become luxury, or we are going to have to stop eating it, or maybe we are going to have to cut all the trees we have left, which would bring consequences to the temperature.

What do you people think about that? Are we going to have to stop eating meat in the future?

What? Ffs, all your posts are always lacking logic. It is a solid fact that the population on the Earth is growing. If everyone wants to eat meat, we really need animals, or do you think we are going to shit the meat? And in order to have animals, we need space, or do you think we are going to have animals living inside our houses? But in the future, we are going to need the most space as possible in order to create houses for humans. In other words, we lack space. In other words, I am not stating a fact, I am stating a possibility that is very likely to happen, and I backed it up with facts.

We are not running out of space for animals; We just need to cut down some trees to make some new space. But cutting down trees has consequences as I previously stated. I am not sure if I can find the source, but around 80% of deforestation here in Brazil happens with the objective of opening room for animals

yes the population is growing but i am pretty sure that we will have come up with something by then.
beside this is at least 10-20 years away until china and India industrialize (and so would N Korea)

and beside if the population goes crazy a war would more likely happen if people didn't have meat.
because food shortage are a major problem i am sure that they will be quickly solved.
maybe i do have logic i just don't want to waste my time proving i do.

From NatGeo:
Deforestation said:
Forests are cut down for many reasons, but most of them are related to money or to people’s need to provide for their families. The biggest driver of deforestation is agriculture. Farmers cut forests to provide more room for planting crops or grazing livestock. Often many small farmers will each clear a few acres to feed their families by cutting down trees and burning them in a process known as “slash and burn” agriculture.

And from ScienceDaily:
Agriculture is the direct driver for worldwide deforestation said:
Agriculture is estimated to be the direct driver for around 80% of deforestation worldwide. In Latin America, commercial agriculture is the main direct driver, responsible for 2/3 of all cut forests, while in Africa and tropical Asia commercial agriculture and subsistence agriculture both account for one third of deforestation.

There was a recent science news that made the headlines where they developed something like meat using molecular biology techniques. AKA cloning cells from cows and making a beef-like patty afterwards. I imagine they can go on mass-production soon.

Do it like Korea then: Buy some land in Africa and pay the local population to produce meat there. While their own population is starving they'll then happily export their meat to your country. Result: Everyone is happy (except for the starving Africans).

The only reasonable argument for not eating meat is if you're allergic. As humans we require meat, as our bodies need the essentials that come from meat. There's no replacement, even if you're a vegetarian/vegan (the stuff in those supplements come from somewhere).

Well, if you want cheap meat that's the way to go. It's the same with crops btw, which you'd need to import anyway if all of your population suddenly switched to being vegetarian.

you can't say something is facts without bringing sources or something to support your claims.. also, even if the population grows, we won't necessarily need more space for animals since there's plenty of it in the countryside in most countries.. also this

Why should he give you sources of something that has been scientifically proven and published? Just go on google yourself.

"As a physician, it seems clear to me that there are considerable health benefits to eating animals. Current epidemiological data support the need for animal-derived nutrients to provide optimal brain health, in particular. For example, B12 and long-chain omega-3 fatty acids essential for the development of a healthy brain are concentrated only in animal products. Excluding animal products from your diet, on the other hand, carries significant risk. A recent survey of 689 men found 52 percent of the 122 vegans were vitamin B12 deficient, which leads to fatigue, depression, decreased cognition, and irreversible nerve damage. As we age, low B12 levels are associated with shrinkage in brain regions related to memory and moods."

Well, thankfully, there is more then enough meat for them if they're willing to consider other humans. Screams White Glove Society, I say.

This is my silly view on the subject of meat though, at some point they will figure out how to clone animals at a reasonable rate. It will still probably be a little rare, depending where you live but I don't foresee people relying on natural born animals forever. Science will find a way to make it easier, or people will start eating other people. In a meatless future, I truly believe that meat extremists would simply start kidnapping random people to consume them in order to taste meat again.

My favourite part about people who deny humans require meat is that they stress the fact that we're omnivores (which of course means we also need meat). Never mind our teeth, or the fact that we do not have the digestive system required for a non-meat diet.
