Friend can't acess site

Hi. My friend at a university signed up for this site yesterday and all was well with creating a profile and a list and everything, but while he was using it this morning he encountered an error and since then he has been unable to gain access to the site. He has tried other computers at the university and can't get on from their either. He has been assured by the university that the site is not being blocked on their end. Is there a way that he can get access to the site back?

That is indeed interesting. Nothing has changed on MAL server side. We will be moving servers soon though (within a day or so), so perhaps that might fix it. Your friend might need to access the web through a proxy in the mean time. :(

Is your friend able to access the site now? We moved servers recently, it might be fixed.

I noticed I was having problems like this intermittently. The site would just not connect for awhile, then I'd log back on like nothing happened.

Even trolled around some people profiles / histories to check if everyone was unable to connect and that wasn't the case =_=

Strange that only specific locations would have problems connecting temporarily... anyway, since the server move I haven't had any troubles at all although it may be too soon to assume it won't happen again.

Oh well lol, We'll see how it goes.

EDIT: ahhhhh so I somehow have the exact opposite problem now. Nothing but myanimelist.net is loading here at the university XD Oh well. Time to go home then lol
