It's a basic trick that various site owners do in order to gain as much profit as possible from advertisements. In MyAnimeList's case, that would be CraveOnline, but I honestly do not think you can turn their minds in some other direction. |
| Ahh, you mean this 800x100 ad takes over some of the navigation tabs? That does happen from time to time. If you close your browser and open it again, is the ad still dragged over the tabs? |
| That itself is a known issue, but I seriously doubt that Crave will do anything about it. Quite the opposite, actually. They would rather expand it than change locations, size, etc. but they will most likely just leave it like it is. The other users that will come by will probably suggest you to use AdBlock, which can be a temporary (or a permanent) solution to the issue, if you want. |
| Currently using ad-blocker, and I never knew this website had ads, until I had to get on it from my phone and omg ads were everywhere. Ad block is nice if you use Google Chrome as a browser. If not, just refreshing the page should work fine. |
