Hi there!

So, I'm new here, so please forgive me if I make any mistakes.

I've been looking for a good anime series with strong emotional impact, such as Ano Hana, H2O Footprints in the Sand, Nana and Toradora. I also somewhat shamefully say that School Days applies to this list in my case, due to the heavy load it carries.

When it comes to this type of Anime, I tend to avoid supernatural/sci-fi elements, but if it's good I'll give it a shot.

Art and animation are also quite important, but the statement above applies to it too.

Thanks!

Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku (I love recommending this)

You said if it has sci-fi elements, it should be good. This one is damn good and damn painful.

Also, nb4 Clannad/After Story.

I'll add Clannad & Clannad: after story. There's a lot of comedy in the first season but there's some drama too, the second season is where it picks up though. If you felt it in Toradora, you're gonna feel it in Clannad. It has some sci-fi elements but they're not really that major to be honest, so you should definitely give it a try. It starts light though, so hang in there.

Edit: saw that you have already watched Clannad (first season), I'd recommend you go for the second one(After Story) then for the full experience, that's where things get good.
