| What is your favourite mech battle? Ideally I'd like you to explain what makes it so good, so this doesn't turn into another list thread. Heero v Wufei - Endless Waltz I'm not sure if it's my favourite mech battle, but it's pretty damn cool, the animation in EW was just jizz-worthy. I think their dialogue makes it even better |

on | Alright, the final battle between Char and Amuro during Gundam 0079 was incredible. The problem with that suggestion is that a lot of that battle also takes place on foot. I'll probably end up liking some more from Gundam, but 0079 and Turn A is all I've really watched from beginning to end. Oh, and I personally prefer the TV version of Eva01's battle with Zeruel. I think the reasons should be kind of obvious. That said, the movie version of that battle was freaking sweet as well. Mod edit: removed deleted post quote |

| Yeah points for Break Blade - I've only seen the first 2 movies but I didn't expect anybody to bring it up here. Amazing stuff I'm surprised at the amount of people who agree with eva - don't get me wrong I love eva to bits and beserk evangelion units are insanely cool, but I don't know Human v Angel/Monster is never as intense as human v human.
