| Well the series is sadly coming to an end. So, now would be a good time as any to redo this poll and find out if your opinions have changed on who your favorite Witch is from the 501st Joint Fighter Wing. | Lynne 'till the end! Is it just me or she's even more MOE in every newer ep~ Not only that, she's very loyal, try her best, and improving with her skills. As for second, third, etc. I might have to wait until last episode. ^^ |

| Sanya holds the lead everywhere that there is a popularity poll. I have no clue why. Personally I like Eila more than Sanya. Then again, I've never liked the "sleepy-monotone" characters. |

I think it has to do with my obsession with dream worlds and inner universes. Them being sleepy and monotone makes them seem deep, mysterious, and moe. I think there's also an aura of being cold and yet kind, and is misunderstood. In which the person wants the feeling of warming them up. Making them "that special someone". It also gives the aura of someone who is very independent and almost majestically godlike, as if a ghost or a powerful spirit. And yet at the same time feels as if though they have a great emotional need that a person sees and wants to fulfill, also to be that special person. That's about the best I can explain the subconscious attraction to such characters. Or possibly mine at least. |

| I think it also has to do with what people are raving about at the moment. People tend to want to like characters that are popular among a community in order to fit in. Not accusing you of this, but I've noticed this phenomenon happen on several occasions. I'm also not saying that this is the exact reason it is happening for this show in particular since I have no data to support this, but in a lot of shows there is commonly that one character that everybody loves and if you were to ask them "Why?" they would either a) respond with some inane insult or b) not be able to answer outside of the response of "because she/he's cool/cute/or any myriad vague descriptions!" It could also just be that my preferences are very different from the majority. Which is awesome, because it means more Lynne for me. |

| It's going to end with Sanya, Lucchini , Miyafugi and Erica being the top 4. It's almost universally (from what I've seen in other polls) the same result. As is, we have 150 members and apparently only 30 active enough to vote and maybe 20 active enough to engage in discussion. In summary: Maybe we should just let this poll die instead of bumping it. We've generally had the same results for a week or more now and I'm sure there is more to talk about than just "which Strike Witch has the larger fan base." |
