Kiku stood up, walked to her window, and closed the curtains. It didn't make much of a difference but it diluted some of the rays from the sun.

Kiku smiled "you know how the sun is strong no matter what time of day? Except night of course....anyway, the sun gives off ultra violet radiation that is harmful to the eyes and skin."

Kiku hummed quietly, her bangs were in her blue eyes and her blonde hair draped over her shoulders. The pink-orange hue from the sun made her hair seem to glimmer.

Kiku looked out her window, the sun had disappeared. It's was getting darker and the stars were coming out. She could faintly see the moon in the darkening sky at the top of the window. It was full and had an orange tint, a perfect harvest moon. She pointed to the moon in the dark purple sky, illuminating the room. "it's a full harvest moon..." she said quietly.
