| Have you seen the Initial D picture movie? What do you think about it? Personally i liked it, but not so much that i would watch it multiple times, there was missing something. Like a lot of the action in the anime series. Though i like the way they pictured Bunta - Takumi's father. Pretty much drunk all the time, and is seems so sloppy. But when he enters a car he OWNZ! Well.. What do you think? |
| It was definitely rushed but still pretty good. My only gripe was that Keisuke wasn't even there!!! Oh yeah, Itsuki's character was as annoying in the movie as in the manga. |
| I expected a lot of negative answers, cause yeah, it isn't the best movie made. Things were rushed as you mentioned, so it's like two seasons cramped into this 1½ hour movie. The racing scenes are okay though. Hopefully, if they make a sequel, they have learned from their fans that some things have to be improved. Such as:

| First of all id like to say HI~! .. new to group and MAL, already liking this site ^_^ ok, topic reply :3 Seen movie before the anime .. atm at first stage and waiting for second to finish finding a beautiful resting place on my hdd ^_^ Liked the movie alot, though as i said, i seen it before the anime so didnt have any comparison matterial to start with... now that im watching the anime i must say that the anime is better setup and more exciting. I like Bunta both ways .. think its best to see the movie and anime seperatly even though te main idea behind it is the same ... but they both have their specific charm thats not transferrable to the counterpart. Honestly feel i cant say to much about that still though since im just at the end of first stage, but doubt my view on it will change much in the near future. |
