This club is made for all Initial D fans. Everybody is welcome to join and talk about the series, the manga and the picture movie - talk about cars and other stuff related to the series or just hang out.

What is Initial D?
Maybe you are asking yourself what Initial D is. Well it's a story about this guy, who has delivered tofu for his father since he was a kid in his fathers car - an AE86, which is a little bit modified to be able to do awesome drifts. Soon Takumi as this guy name is gets challenged by some other drivers outside of town. We follow him in developing his skills in the numerous challenges. He soon becomes famous and called the ghost of Mt. Akina.

In other news. I finally got my 86 back on the road after nearly 2 years. Replaced the struts, all the tie rods, hubs, rebuilt the brakes, and had to have Toyota dealership fix something they screwed up 8 years ago. Got it all aligned and it run beautifully.

I recently found out that Kodansha USA is releasing the Initial D manga in omnibus form with a new translation so that was a really cool surprise for me even though the news is a little old at this point. Pretty sure the first of those volumes just came out, with at least a couple retailers having exclusive covers. I plan to check it out if a new local bookstore can get it and finally get around to reading the whole series.
