| Not sure about genres in particular but some various ones maybe... Asian Kung-Fu Generation L'Arc~en~Ciel Puffy AmiYumi (great live; saw them twice) Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra Yoshida Brothers And listen to some sometimes that are great but not sure about favorites: High and Mighty Color, Orange Range, Miyavi, Dir en Grey. Probably some others too but guess since I can't think of them at the moment they can't be "favorites" |
| Heard of L'Arc~en~Ciel before, and Dir en Grey,, though I can't say that I have gotten stuck to any of their music as such. The music I currently like is ANNA TSUCHIYA, abingdon boys school, UVERworld, The babys,, and also I would like to get hold of some cds from the group Jill-Decoy Association. Got to get a hold of some money first though =). |

| Kagrra's visual kei (though not so hardcore now), and they combine traditional Japanese instruments with rock ~ here's a link to one of their latest songs, "Utakata" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1BZ0Jn8sgM Iceman's J-pop, well-known for performing "Shining Collection" from Gravitation. | My absolute favorite band has to be Lolita23q, hands down. And yes, one of their songs is where I got my username from *unorignal*. But, it's my favorite song though, so there. Dx I haven't gotten to know these bands through Anime, however. The only one I found through Anime was Kotani Kinya, the rest are from my own searching. I'm more addicted to Jrock music than I am to Anime and Manga.... way more. I'm obsessed, even. ^^;; I love a lot of Japanese bands, though. I'm mostly into indie VK/OK and such than anything else. I love An Cafe, Panic Channel, 176BIZ, Ayabie, Dir en grey, Hyde, PLC ( ;_; ), Gazette, Shelly Trip realize ( ;_; ), ART SCHOOL, Blood, Aural Vampire, Izabel Varosa, D'espairsRay, Mucc, 12012, Kotani Kinya, Metronome, L'Arc~en~Ciel .... I could really go on and on. Dx I've only seen Hyde, Dir en grey, D'espairsRay, Mucc, and Blood. I'm seeing An Cafe and Ayabie soon. But I'm working on it, really. ;_; I wish I could fly all over the country and see all of them as they come here to the US, but unfortunately I'm not made of cash. Phooey. And of course, to top my misery, I got into Jrock too late to fly out to see PLC on their last live here. How was I supposed to know they were gunna break up though? Stupid Daishi. Dx |

| I very like Asian Kung-Fu Generation. Then I like UVERworld. I heard some of Orange Range songs and it's fine to :) Lately I discovered Arashi, because I love Jun Matsumoto, but I don't this kind of music. But for Jun I can make an exception :) Also I like this songs: Ai Otsuka - Planetarium Rie Fu - Life is Like a Boat Beautiful songs! |

| My favorite genres for Japanese music would be Japanese pop and Japanese Rock. I'd say that i have an equal balance of listening to J-Pop nd J-Rock.
