There are hardly animes like that, at least of what I know...

grandia 2, tales of the abyss, infinite undiscovery, FF8 and 9, and tales of innocence are some good ones

grandia 2 is the one that got me to like this type of trope, seeing ryudo and elena gradually warm up to one another was really fun to watch,

sayign they are prevelant in rpg's was a over exageration on my part though, i should have said there are a good amount of them in rpgs

yah manga is fine

and i agree symphonia is better but abyss is still amazing, vesperia was good but this is gonna sound really dumb but taking out the whole romantic aspect that the tales games had took somthing away in vesperia to me, great game but i prefer most of the other tales games, i honestly think hearts is the best but im probably the only perosn in the world that thinks that. i relise not having romance in a game is a stupid reason to count as a negitive but that sorta thing really does makes characters more likable and can keep you interested in it while also pulling at your heart strings

like could you honestly immagine FFX or grandia 2 without romance in it?

Well he mentioned that both characters hate each other at the start and for these, the guys dont really dislike/hate the female lead, but tsundere is a good thing to search for in terms of "hate" romance

Yes but Yuri was a better main character then Lloyd or Yuri so that is what sealed it for me. No whining.

yuri is a great lead but luke is the most developed character ive ever seen, plus how can you not like a dude that willingly tries to kill himself to save everyone else in the world......TWICE, in vesperia i only really liked raven and yuri, didnt care to much for the rest, and thanks for the recomendations
