| Each character's skills in the different areas of the Ninja Arts are determined by how much Stat Points (SP) you gain from performing missions. SP is basically the same thing as Experience Points, and the number of SP you currently have can be used to increase your ninja's stats Assign however many points you like to each of the categories (in increments of 5's), with no limits to how much points you can assign to each stat. All new Ninja automatically start with 50 SP and at the Genin rank. Additionally, 6000 (a Kage's level of skills) is the maximum number of SP a person can achieve. (not counting bonuses gained from titles) The different stats are used the points for: Ninjutsu - Determines how good you are at Manipulating the chakra running through your body, it reduces the chakra cost of jutsu as-well as improves your efficiency at casting them. Taijutsu - Pure hand-to-hand combat, it also affects your agility(body control) which determines the speed of your bodily attacks. Weapon Skill - How skillful one is with using various ninja tools, such as shuriken, kunai, ninjato, etc Chakra - Determines the amount of chakra you have at your disposal. Strength - Purely how physically strong you are Speed - How fast you can move your body forward. (Taijutsu determines the speed of punches and kicks etc) Intelligence - Boosts Genjutsu aswell as defense against it. IMPORTANT: You may be inclined to automatically boost a single stat way up, but some of the others could actually help you in battle, so chose wisely...
