----------------------------------------
The September 2012 issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine contains Chapter 6 of Fujitani Mukko's “Capriccio” on pages 237 – 267. The chapter is called, “Danjyo 4 Nin Natsu Monogatari” - essentially, “The Summer Story of the 4 Boys and Girls”. There are two colour pages. The first colour page shows Demelta and Akira sitting in the surf in jeans and t-shirts, with Akira eating something. (Food is always associated with the characters in title, chapter and cover pages.) The second colour page shows the cover from the first tankouban which just came out. It shows a grimacing Akira and a half-eaten cream cake.

The chapter starts with Demelta apologizing to Yuusuke for disappearing and worrying him, while Akira pushes Demelta's head down to the floor. Demelta and Yuusuke agree that the problem was because she can't speak Japanese. Akira gets temporarily horrified while thinking of the trouble Demelta could get into if she did speak Japanese, then he gets into yet another argument with her about her apology. Yuusuke then interrupts to offer Akira a ticket to a live band performance on Saturday night. Demelta wants to go too, but there is only one ticket. (Not that that is a problem with Demelta in mini-ball mode.)

Saturday night comes and Akira is dressed in his best casual clothes and waiting outside of the music venue for Yuusuke. But Kitajima shows up instead. Yuusuke gave her his ticket because he said that he couldn't make it. Akira is stunned by seeing Kitajima in her “civilian” clothes. He realizes that Yuusuke deliberately set them up together and is pleased and thankful. He is also excited but scared about being together alone with Kitajima.

But Kitajima tells Akira that she is waiting for one more friend. This both disappoints and relieves Akira simultaneously, because he didn't know how he was going to be able to handle being alone with Kitajima. Then Kitajima's friend shows up – it's a situation right out of Akira's nightmare – the guy is tall, older and cool. The guy calls Kitajima by her first name – Miyo. Kitajima starts to introduce the guy as “Yo-chan”, and then stops and calls him Oomori. Oomori asks Akira outright if he is Kitajima's boyfriend. They both shout out that they are just classmates and Oomori grins.

It turns out that Oomori is a friend of one of the band members so he doesn't need a ticket to the sold-out concert. Oomori also travels a lot for business. Oomori goes over to a friend to get a beer, and as he is speaking with the band members some beautiful girls around his age come over and start to chat with him. Akira notices that Kitajima has a dismayed look upon her face. He then realizes that Oomori was the person that Kitajima was speaking of that time she was mentioning how sad it was to have someone you like be far away.

Akira starts to think how he has no chance to compete with Oomori, when suddenly Kitajima calls his name, takes him by the hand, tells him that they should go to the stage because the show is about to start, and pulls him through the crowd without looking back at Oomori. Demelta notices the hand-holding.

Akira is stunned to realize that Kitajima is enjoying the concert, enjoying his company, and didn't mind holding his hand. He thinks to himself that he is so happy that he could die.

At that instant Demelta pops into the air in her full-ball form. She looks around as if a bit confused while Akira has a look of total despair on his face.

Next we see Akira and Demelta in human form in the men's room, with Demelta apologizing, but also making an excuse that there was something that she just had to say, and that she didn't realize where they were. Akira doesn't buy this and accuses Demelta of deliberately making him miserable.

Kitajima then knocks on the door and asks if they are okay. She thinks that the “alien” was after Demelta again. Demelta uses this as an excuse to escape from Akira's lecturing and they head back towards the concert. Oomori then shows up and apologizes to Kitajima for leaving her, telling her that he has to do things. He asks Akira to walk Kitajima home, and Akira agrees enthusiastically.

Later on the way home Kitajima is happy because she enjoyed the concert, and Akira is happy because he is taking Kitajima home. But this leaves Demelta unhappy and she comes up with another scheme. She grabs Kitajima's hand, and then grabs Akira's hand and brings all of their hands together. Kitajima and Akira are both flustered, at which point Yuusuke shows up.

Yuusuke starts to bug Akira about “monopolizing” both girls, and they start to argue. Demelta thinks how to defuse the situation to her advantage and comes up with another idea. She takes Yuusuke's left hand in her right hand, Akira's right hand in her left hand, and has Kitajima take Akira's left hand with her right hand. Yuusuke is bedazzled, Demelta is ecstatic with her idea, Akira is flustered, and Kitajima is a bit uncomfortable.

Akira demands why Demelta has done this. Demelta acts innocent and says its because that's how earthlings get along. Yuusuke and Kitajima get the general idea of what Demelta is saying and doing, and Kitajima also thinks that this is cute and it is nostalgic of Kindergarten days. So the four walk to Kitajima's house together, hand in hand in hand in hand.

And Demelta is thinking that this might be an even better result – the four of them could have sex together!
