Made this topic mainly because it just MIGHT be interested in trying out whatever you guys post in this topic myself as I've pretty much no clue what kind of job I'm supposed to occupy myself with before becoming either incredibly bored of it or just simply paying enough.
Jobs I've tried out already but not found satisfying enough; dog daycare center member, cook, painter, grocery store worker and a few other small jobs..
In September I started working for Radio Shack and it's alright. I'm actually looking for new work while working there. I would stay... except there have been some recent incidences with upper management that I ethically and morally can not just look past.
The job itself is ok though. I'm the only female worker so I get snubbed a lot by customers in favor of the men. Usually it's just middle aged women and elderly men that are the worst to deal with.
You get paid minimum wage as an associate and also make commission off certain sales. Cell phones are the big money when it comes to commission (SPIFFS). So you're suposed to try to transition to wireless no matter what you're selling. Also you have to try to sell batteries, talk about trade ins, try to attach three items and a service plan on any key category, and get an email address on EVERY sale. It's seriously a headache to do that with every customer because it is blatenly obvious with some customers that you are just annoying the piss out of them. So all the corporate bullshit is a bit over the top and customers become outrageous when it comes to electronics . They even threaten associates even when we have no power to do what they want. I have more customer horror stories from working here than any other job I've held. I've worked in conssessions, restaraunts/bars, tanning & hair salons, as a live in nanny, and a hospital.
The good points are the money you can make, employee perks like cell phone plans and discounts, generally the other hourly associates are good people, and that you learn a lot about things you didn't even know existed... which is very fun for me.

It's not bad, can get busy and one of my coworkers is picky on the most silliest of things, but aside from that. It's not bad, good pay, good perks (like beer, cooks get drunk at times, and on the less busy days, wasted...lol I remember having a hard time standing straight in the bus after the morning shift lmao!).
Fun overall. But THERE are shitty days, but it varies on how one deals w/ that.
Well I was working for Telus Communications. I recently quit. Jobs don't get much more stressful and fast-paced than that, haha. I stuck around as long as I could take it, but it just wasn't for me.
