| Yes, it is. You're not going to be perfect at something right off the bat. You'll naturally make mistakes with anything you do, especially if you're trying something out for the first time, but that's how you learn and improve. |
| Failure is very important for competent people. They use it as a stepping stone to become better. I myself consider it as an extremely valuable resource. Incompetent people shy away from failure, because they think failure defines them as a person, rather than using it as something to learn from. |
