Corn is one of the most heavily-produced foods in the world. I think almost everyone eats corn, or products derived from corn. Here's a pic of corn.....so do enjoy eating corn?

I have approximately 1 terabyte of anime on my computer.

I don't understand people who cook frozen corn.

@IpreferEcchi well corn is frozen in order to preserve it in supermarkets, to prevent it from going bad/expiring.

I don't eat corn. It doesn't digest so it's useless.

lately though I've been on/off munching a bag of popcorn someone left in the house. The stuff tastes like plastic.

@DesuMaiden I mean corn kernels that are already off the cob, in the same way as frozen peas.

Corn is best when you have to bite it.

I use sweetcorn as a bit of a utility ingredient, eating it with beans or peas or in tomato-based sauces. Rarely have it on its own.

I only recently learned "corn" is anything of that size which is why corned beef has nothing to do with corn because it is corns of salt. I am considering trying to retrain myself to say maize.

It mixes with mashed potatoes nice and just is not as convenient to prepare corn on the cob because you either have to boil it or grill it. I dont think it does well in the microwave. I do prefer on the cob though

You have to ask the North Koreans. Corn (maize) is the prominent crop in some mountainous regions there. The fresh lager in some smaller North Korean cities use corn as an adjunct for beer ingredients. Anyways, they would be great with potato starch pancakes.

I do know there is a kind of Korean tea that is barley and corn so I could see how a barley and corn beer might work but if you replace with corn entirely I am not sure it could even be called beer at that point unless they at least use a lot of hops but even then it no longer is quite beer but more something in itself technically.

I think this is more like a Korean supermarket in America thing. I mostly see corn tea and corn silk tea here in Seoul.

so I could see how a barley and corn beer might work but if you replace with corn entirely I am not sure it could even be called beer at that point unless they at least use a lot of hops but even then it no longer is quite beer but more something in itself technically.

I know that traditional American style lager is a German style lager made with English or Scottish style ale ingredients (2-row barley and specific hops) to the point that corn as an adjunct (minor grain ingredient other than malted barley) is necessary to balance the bitterness. Today's American style lager now mostly uses rice and 6-row barley instead of corn.
