joke aside another day, another game isekai. at this point i can only hope and pray japan will come together as a nation and finally complete older beloved unfinished franchises of the same genre like overlord, log horizon, and no game no life rather than continually serve the public this uninspired crap.

Overlord should have its final part late next year or early 2027, if the information I’m remembering is correct.

Also, this is the only 4X game isekai I’ve watched.

Is Log Horizon worth the watch, or is it just another teen isekai? Only watched some of the first episode didn’t feel very inspired.

@Old_Greggu id say its a pointlessly detailed orientated like a d&d game that got watered down into a cheap copy paste Chinese mmo if that makes any sense. basically a lot of boring yap with some preteen action drama and romance sprinkled in every now and then. just think of it being placed somewhere in the mid to worst titles in the .Hack franchise.

Overlord got a Movie last year. With the Light Novel ending soon, dunno if they'll do a complete adaptation tho, but that's one of the few who may have that chance. Log Horizon got an unexpected 3rd Season in 2021, but the Light Novel has been in Hiatus for years now, and i don't think the 3rd Season did good. No Game No Life won't happen. The Light Novel heavily slowed down its release with a few Hiatus, and the Author announced he's about to end the story.

Log Horizon the best video game isekai imo people hate on it for being slow and stuff but atleast they do more than just fight and the fights have stakes and the raids are cool as hell. I would say leaps better than Hack and definitely better than the past 5 years of crap

Lack of exposition makes for a dull watch, glad to hear it’s not all fighting, will keep it on my planned.

at this point in my life and after being into western comics I find myself only able to watch isekais cause I can't take serious anime seriously cause the stories don't have anything real to tell like anime pre 2011 .
