Email notifications with news on poorly rated series

An anime series is in my completed list and I rated it a 1 or a 2. I should not be receiving "New Related Anime" email notifications about this series that I rated poorly and have zero interest in. There needs to be a way to distinguish between poorly rated series and series I am actually interested in with these notifications. Perhaps a setting to not receive any notifications on anime personally rated below a customizable number? The way these notifications are working right now is equivalent to spam but they could be helpful if they are better refined.

I assume the system assumes you completed the season which gives reason to suggest the next season.
