Side characters in Seirei Gensouki LNs have a lot of depth as compared to other isekai LNs we have nowadays.

Don't know, the sales number is around 3 million, less than those Kadokawa isekai LNs such as Mushoku Tensei, Re:Zero, Overlord.
The only news we have is that the LN illustrator Riv has health problems and they replaced the illustrator.
Volume 27 will release in Japan in October 2025.

I don't need her to be major character. She just has to be cute and there.
(Just finished volume 4 on Friday. Seems the novel highlights much more the link between Miharu and Aishia than the anime.)

Since you have already watched the anime, which mainly follows the WN route. I suggest the LN route. The LN version is much more polished and goes more in-depth into the side characters. | @lugaspa21 Light Novel and Anime have different routes. Read from the start. You will notice the huge difference when you reach volume 4~ Only read from where the anime ends if the anime is a good adaptation which are extremely rare nowadays~ Personally, I like the light novel but I dislike the anime~ The light novel adds add much more depth into the characters, making them interesting to read~ |
