Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- (light novel)
| Apparently, Crunchyroll France accidentally leaked the release date. It's January 2026. But they're now denying the leak being true. I think it might not be true cause most anime that are going to air in Winter 2026 have already been announced long before. Meanwhile, we still don't have official confirmation for Re:Zero Season 4. The next official event where they might reveal the release date is MF Bunko J which will happen in November 16. That's still months away. I don't think they will announce a January release date less than 2 months before. So either we're getting an official confirmation very soon. Or the actual release date is later. Possibly Spring 2026. This is because: 1. Spring 2026 will be the 10th anniversary of Re:ZERO Season 1. 2. April 1 which is Subaru's birthday, is a Wednesday. Re:ZERO always airs on Wednesdays. Season 2 was originally supposed to start airing on Subaru's birthday on April 1 in 2020 and if it aired weekly with no delays it would've ended on September 23, Emilia's birthday. But COVID and other stuff fucked it up. I don't think Season 4 will be able to do this thing because it is rumored to only have 22 episodes and these days it's very rare to not have cour-breaks for this kind of anime. So even if it starts as early as Spring it probably won't end before Fall or if we're really unlucky it might go till 2027. But at least we'd have 4 consecutive years of Re:Zero from 2024 to 2027 if that were the case. It'd be the one last cool thing as White Fox was bought out by AlphaPolis. |

I think the purchase is still pending until this Fall, so I doubt it would affect season 4 which White Fox is still contracted for. |
