A shame it’s gonna be a movie and not a new season, but nice to see it finally has a date, will have to do a proper rewatch of Seasons 1 & 2 before this rolls around outside of Japan

I am actually relieved that this appears to be a proper sequel, and not a spin-off or whatever. Plus, while it is doubtful that we will get many more 'zombie idols' stages, they at least seem to be willing to commit to their tomfoolery to the bitter end. If trailers are anything to go by, all this appears to be in equal parts overblown, absurd comedy, and serious storytelling. While it seems almost impossible to balance these two contradictory elements without it turning into a train-wreck, it is because Zombieland Saga managed this miracle with pizazz from the start that it became beloved. So, i guess we can actually get our expectations up somewhat, as opposed to the sequel film we got for "High School Fleet". Which was terrible in every sense.
