The female MC feels like a total carbon copy of Himari from Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive? (the one airing this season). I dropped that show because Himari was so annoying 🙄. Fingers crossed this one’s better, but since it’s by Ghost Mikawa (who wrote Gimai Seikatsu), I’ve got some hope. Anyone who’s read it how is it?

Yeah i also dropped himari one bcuz she was like really annoying i gave up on ep 10 but i think this one would be different himari was annoying at every fckin point i dont think any other anime is capable of doing that far.

Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai was released 2 years before Danjoru. Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai's light novel was released in 2019, while Danjoru was 2021.
And if you want to compare Iroha with Himari. You can think of a teasing style MC for Iroha.

Nah, don't worry. Been reading both manga since 2022 and I can tell you Iroha is far far better than that little annoying ass blue haired gremlin. Plus she's assertive and quite honest too. Her teasing is not in the sense annoying, it's more like cute.

This has not even aired yet, why judge it before watching a single episode?

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Iroha is so good, hope they do her justice. Granted it will be limited to first few volumes of the LN unless we get a second season.
