I can't handle shows like One Piece, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Demon Slayer, DanDaDan, Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, etc. because of the violence in them and how those shows causes my anxiety to go up heavily and start to get upset. I wish I didn't have the kind of autism that I have

Tokyo Mew Mew makes me feel calm. Am I a weakling for the fact that I can't handle series like Naruto? I'm able to handle the violence in Tokyo Mew Mew because it's mostly calm and I love Mew Ichigo healing the monsters and such

I've wanted people to hate me because I hate myself so I've thought about going out of my way to say that Naruto or DanDaDan or My Hero Academia or JoJo's Bizarre Adventure or Demon Slayer or One Piece are terrible shows, even though I personally don't think that (and I never saw some of those, I just know I can't handle them) just so people will hate me

Different people like and dislike different things, it's natural! You're not a terrible person for not wanting to watch certain shows, no matter the reason. But there is really no need for you to lie that you hate them or to bash them and try to make people hate you because of that - it doesn't do anyone no good.

Just stick to watching and spreading love for the shows that you love, that's it! 🌸 And TMM is a great choice, it's one of my all time favs as well! 🥰

@autumn_sky96 I was surprised with how I was able to handle Tokyo Mew Mew since usually, I can't take violence at all, but there wasn't a single time where Tokyo Mew Mew gave me anxiety

I admit I often feel weak due to being really sensitive because of what society has said, so a series like Tokyo Mew Mew where it feels like a series about how sensitivity is a strength means a lot to me

it is a strength in its own way 💗 and fortunately TMM mostly has magical fights and no one ends up seriously hurt in the end, so I can see how it may be easier to get through for you. I'm glad you were able to enjoy it🌸

This is going to sound weird, but my second favorite show after Tokyo Mew Mew is Bear in the Big Blue House, a preschool show from the 90s. I tend to like shows that are easy to comprehend (I have bad comprehension skills), aren't violent (Tokyo Mew Mew is an exception), aren't very wacky, and don't feel scary and don't feel fast paced. That's another thing, part of why I love Tokyo Mew Mew is because it felt very slow paced for me. It's easier for me to keep up with slow paced shows, which is why I love shows like it and Bear in the Big Blue House

I apologize that i'm desperate to be friends with Mew Mew fans. I'm lonely and I hate that Tokyo Mew Mew isn't as popular and talked about as other anime. I also admit I struggle being friends with others unless they have a common interest. I'm selfish and I wish I wasn't selfish like that

Thats ok, sweetheart. :(
I feel and understand you. ♡
To share the things we love with others who love the same stuff is totally normal and good!

TMM was one of my first manga I read and I love it till this day! I would love more episodes of it, but yeah... :(

If you like, I can give you a few recommendations with wholesome anime without fighting (or just a little).

@KobayashiChi I know Tokyo Mew Mew was popular enough in Japan to get a reboot, and a spinoff manga 2 decades later along with a 2-chapter sequel (marking the second sequel, with the first being a la Mode), but it feels very niche outside of Japan

I'd like some recommendations. I admit I might not get around to them until later, only because I might want to rewatch some more Mew Mew, since i'm already familiar with it and it's comforting for me to watch stuff i've already watched and love. Still, i'll give others a chance, so feel free to recommend some wholesome anime without fighting or just a little

Definitely a top favorite anime for me as well ^_^ I like a lot of different types of anime but magical girl shows are definitely my favorite for some of the same reasons you mentioned. As others have said, there’s no shame in liking what appeals to you, and no reason to try to like what appeals to others. One of the great things about anime is there’s something for everyone.

Little Busters!
(slice of life)

Little Busters! Refrain
(second season)

The Ancient Magus' Bride
(romance & fantasy)

My Bride is a Mermaid
(comedy, fantasy & romance)

School Rumble
(comedy)

Baka & Test: Summon the Beasts
(comedy)

Ranking of Kings
(has fights... but it is also a really wholesome anime)

Thanks. I'm hoping I can. I'm not very good at comprehending stories usually, so there's a chance i might not be able to get into all of these, but i'll try. Tokyo Mew Mew was something I could comprehend fairly easily, which helped me get into it more
