Episode 1

Hana loves to do recitations as her way of entertaining herself, and that has caught the attention of Mizuki, the head of the school's broadcasting club, and she will stop at nothing to recruit her. Mizuki pulls out all the stops, even going as far as to hitch a ride with her on the ferry home where she ends up spending the night. So after getting a night to think about it, Hana decides to join seeing that it's what she really wants to do, but her biggest concern is missing the final ferry of the day and not making it back home on time due to club activities. But in the end, she made arrangements with a fisherman, so that's all taken care of. This feels like one of those movies, but it's a TV series, and it's one of those slice-of-life shows that doesn't try to do anything over-the-top and focuses on storytelling.

I hope this turns out as good as something like Kono Oto Tomare. It's not quite as polished as Mushoku Tensi, but you can see Studio Bind's style in it.

I was wondering why the beautiful character art style looked so familiar and turns out, it was Mushoku Tensei I'm being reminded of-- and I don't even watch it. It looks beautiful, and I'd say it'd be necessary for this Anime to maintain that quality if it's going to heavily rely on characters having imaginary visuals during their recitals.

Speaking of imaginary visions, this also reminded me of Wave! Listen to me!/Nami Yo Kiitekure which also does that during the MC's Radio Drama show.

I stopped halfway through. It just had no appeal to me. Maybe if it was about constructing prose and poetry instead of just reciting it I might have taken some interest.
