So the author is actually Fei Xingkong himself. In the real world, Si Rui recommended his manhua to the manhua company but they rejected it and said it was trash. He then throws a tantrum and Si Rui is disappointed.

Since he's a younger version of himself (a university student) from the start of the series, maybe he made all this up (in his brain or drew it in a manhua) so he can start over again.

Or maybe he intentionally or unintentionally got into a coma and everything that happened so far is a dream.

This better get a second season.
