| PDC and the Solar Fleet are pushing Cheng Xin to become the swordholder, because she is the embodiment of peace and love to the public after donating the star system to humanity. Problem is that everyone is naive in this "peaceful" age, where almost no one has lived through the Crisis Era and where everyone purposely look away from the danger that are the Trisolarans. They are just scared to choose someone who is actually willing to push the button, and this is why humanity will bring itself to its own downfall like always. Like Wade said: "we'll lose a lot if we lose our humanity, but we'll lose everything if we lose our instinct." |
