what chapter will s3 go to (manga spoilers)

Assuming that they stick with the 23/24 episodes for a season where do you think s3 will reach in the manga? I've got 2 guesses.
1. They end it at the technical end of the culling game arc. This would be ~84 chapters compared to s1s ~64 and s2s ~74 so it's a little unreasonable but it could happen.

2. they could end it at chapter 215

but what do you think (sorry if this already has a topic i didn't see one)

Personally i want it to end with 215 and the addition of the bits of the chapter where jujutsu tech and others are all gathered talking about how to save megumi. showing the pissed off Yuji talking about Eating anything, his convo with choso about yuki and his brothers. and end it off with everyone grouped together and shokos dialogue about everyone waiting for Gojo to come back ending on the shot of the prison realm.

They would need to adapt 100 chapters in a season so not happening, also gojo vs sukuna takes place in the shinjuku showdown so that’s season 4 for sure

Ahaha, I love seeing people's predictions and speculations about the anime adaptation! I think your guesses are both plausible, and I'd like to add my own thoughts.

For option 1, I think it's possible that they might end it at the technical end of the Culling Game arc, but it would be a bit rushed, as you mentioned. They'd have to condense a lot of material into just a few episodes.

For option 2, chapter 215 seems like a reasonable endpoint for S3. It's a significant point in the story, marking the end of the Culling Game and the aftermath. It would also give the anime a chance to wrap up some loose ends and set the stage for future arcs.

Personally, I think they might aim to end S3 at around chapter 200-205. This would give them enough time to adapt the remaining story from the manga's current arc, and it would leave room for a potential S4 to adapt the later chapters. What do you guys think?

I think ending it at point 1 might be possible because a lot of the CG chapters are action packed and MAPPA isn’t scared of irregular episode counts (AOT s4p1 was 16). Plus if they end it with nah i’d win then they can use Gojo in advertisements for s4

Sukuna flying away would also be a welcome ending tho. However that means the s4 opener would be him killing Ryu and Yorozu which would be kind of weird in my opinion

Honestly its felt like we still in the culling game arc. And if they do only go up to the prison realm reveal then season 4 is just going to be a massive fight that goes on forever. So I hope they just make one massive season

that is not possible to cover in 1 season and if they did, there won't be much content left to make s4

Yes, that's right, the alternative would be for Sukuna Megumi's body to take over towards the end, that would be a much wilder cliffhanger and this could be the perfect and for this season of S3
