Great news for any long standing fans (and any new fans ofc!):

Mashiroiro Shinfoni is based on a visual novel (eroge; 18+) and is now available in English.
There have been translation efforts years ago but they were abandoned not long after.
The game was translated and published by Shiravune and was ultimately finally released on Steam and Johren almost a week ago.
The Steam version is an all ages edition but an 18+ patch can be downloaded and will unlock all the spicier (18+) scenes.

As for the translation.... For whatver reason "Onii-chan" has been translated to "Shingy".
I kid you not. Guess the translators wanted to localize onii-chan by using a nickname that
people in the West would use for their sibling but "Shingy" for Shingo is definitely not it.
Maybe wait for the fans to fix the translation after all...
Nobody who is going to read this VN is NOT going to be familiar with the word "onii-chan", "sensei", "senpai" or "imouto" etc.

If you buy the game before May 15th, you can save 40% on the main game and 46% when buying the bundle that also includes the "Sana Edition". However, the game has already been "cracked" and shared in the usual spots/forums online (just an fyi).
Obviously, if you want to see more VNs localized and brought to the West, BUY THIS GAME!

I was tempted to buy it on Steam but if they changed the onii-chan into something weird word that I don't even know of, I'd rather not.

They should change it into the original, much more preferred word of the fans, not their preferences. They're just ruining the experience.

Anyway, that's that.

P.S. IDK what the guy above me is saying.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
