So i watched this series because of reviews and it turns out pretty boring to me i think it's because of the execution of event that are predictable to the point that it's not giving an excitement.

Ig I agree it had a poor execution and kinda felt rushed. But it wasn't as boring as you're making it sound (Ig my curiosity with the whole number, special school thing kept me interested even though they didn't properly show and explain the school part)

Ngl I agree. The end felt rushed and kinda anticlimactic like it came out of nowhere for no reason. Kinda wish it was more like breaking bad

Yeah I did notice it’s kinda overrated. Like it’s good, maybe a solid 7/10 but not 10/10 imo

I liked the concept of it with it revolving around terrorism, but I thought the characters were really bland and the storytelling felt very rushed and crude. Soundtrack slaps though.

It's one of the worst anime I've ever had watched ( I have not watched a lot). Great first episode then it gets sooooo boring, and the characters are pretty dull too. I came in with too high expectations

same lol, i think it's because people spread it's good and they will just pretend that it's really good but in reality a 6 or 7 anime.

this is probably Watanabes weakest work imo, I only finished it because I'm a big fan of his and wanted to watch his entire collection.

I feel like it had a ton of potential... like I felt like it was about to get really exciting the whole time, but the buildup never went anywhere. Also, the ridiculous investigator girl drove me crazy. She made no sense. She was just there to make a little extra chaos to drag the story along, and her character didn't fit with all the other character designs... idk. It tried hard, I liked the animation, so I gave it a 7 I think. But I can't exactly say I liked it either.

It was really interesting to me. Psychological thriller has always been the genre to excite me the most. I guess people who aren't into it won't enjoy it a lot. I personally loved it though.

don't get me wrong, I do agree with you but to a certain point. Yes, the anime was kinda boring. extremely rushed. under-developed plot, predictable to say the least. but I feel like it was only predictable because we've seen so many of this same genre that we can now tell what's coming next. the anime world has everything, every single plot/storyline imaginable has already been created so it's really hard to find a unique and brand new story line. nonetheless, I think this anime is really good for beginners. the characters were written brilliantly, I just wish we could've explored more into them. the ending was flawless though. there's really nothing more to say. terror in resonance is good but not great.

Agreed.

I liked it a bit when I watched it but now it’s kind of hard to recall why. The characters were lacking.

I really enjoyed the first few episodes, then I found myself shaking my head over Five, then I went back to really enjoying the ending. The music and sound was really good imo, especially the ending, I really liked it because of the music they put on it. But overall I just enjoyed the vibe of the show. The plot could have been WAY better and they could have added some actual context but it's whatever, I'm not mad about spending my time watching it.

I don't know if I would say it's boring, but it was indeed bad. I'm not sure I'd even call it rushed, just poorly conceived. It seemed good at first. ignoring that there is no feasible way they could have pulled off the first bombing without people dying, but then they introduced the whole thing with Five and the US gov and things went down hill from there with poorly conceived plot twits that M. Night Shyamalan would be proud of. Disappointing since this had potential at first, I have no clue why this is so highly rated, is Watanabe worship still a thing?

Oh and one other thing, I don't understand the praise for the soundtrack either. It sounded like they wanted Sigur Ros but had to settle for second and third rate knock offs. Most of it was meh but some of it was unbearable and none of it was even close to as good as the band the soundtrack, and I guess show, was influenced by.

One of the most forgettable anime I have seen. I don't remember if I found it boring but the story isn't anything special,it's just decent. The characters were interesting but not good. Animation and osts are good tho. Evangelion, Monster, Death Note, Steins; Gate etc are much better psychological anime than this
Oh and it's pretty rushed if it was maybe 5-8 episodes more it would have been much better

I dropped it after episode 2. In the first 2 episodes it's already too rushed and shoves every stereotype down your throat. They pull the "that incident" and "we're outsiders and nobody is like us" shit between the two Sphinx kids far too early.

Predictable characters. Stoic guy with the overly extroverted, immature one. Cop who got demoted figures everything out but is looked down on by supervisors. Mom and daughter got abandoned by daddy and now mom is a nutcase. And don't get me started on the mean girls, the "give me your number", and overall totally unrelatable high school BS from episode 1.

Let me guess. They give numbers as names in private because they were in some hellish institution as kids. They couldn't save a friend as they escaped (flashback/dream) and now they're "us against the world" because of it. Lisa is going to make them both question everything they stand for. The demoted cop will come out as the hero. Nobody gives a damn about the mom after episode 2 because she is now bat-shit crazy, though I'm sure there is some harrowing BS between Lisa, the boys, and the mom to try to give some credence as to why extrovert boy is drawn to her. Probably some revenge BS thrown in against the kids at school who harass Lisa as well.

And, I'm sorry, how many people had the day off at City Hall and surrounding area? Was there 1 person per floor? How did the people from halfway up the building, where the first explosion went off, get out? The building collapsed somehow even though they set the thermite and explosive charges well away from anything contributing to the building's structural integrity.

For the record I have watched a ton of procedural, psychological, and mind game movies, shows, and anime. I generally am engaged and follow it just to see what happens, even when it's a B-List, low-budget POS. But this one... this is easily in the bottom 10/hundreds. If it was a movie, maybe stick it out. But 3.25 more hours of wasted time? No thanks.

Hot garbage. I could smell how bad it was at the start so I walked away.

3/10 and not 1 just because I didn't watch the entire thing. They let me know how bad it was going to be early on.

Nope, lack of setup at the start means overdone exposition later. Easily predictable characters leads to lack of substance. Rushed and in your face stereotypes is lazy writing.

Nice try though.

Seeing as I watched tons of gore, abuse, and exceedingly graphic media and enjoyed those I don't see where me being "triggered" comes in. Especially since I think the entire woke movement is a farce supported by keyboard warriors on their couch posting to social media so they feel like they are contributing.

"Our thoughts and prayers" bit by Anthony Jeselnik should about sum up my views on that.
