This Series Completely Bombed,

Part 1 = 6.3 Score
Part 2 = 6.5 Score

Sunrise has projects that have been sat on the shelf for years like the Code Geass Sequel for Fukkatsu no Lelouch which had a score of 7.91
And has been completed by 133,999 Users as opposed to Kyoukai Senki's measly 10k.

I understand this is Sunrise "Beyond" so its most likely not the same group of people but how have they gotten 3 shows in 2 years while
Code Geass: Dakkan no Z was slated to had "Already Been In Development" way back in 2020 and is being done by Sunrise directly.

Some Anime Industry info would help me understand this if anyone cares to.

MAL ratings and scores aren't always an accurate way of viewing how a series performs in Japan. Due to it being a mecha series, it may have sold tons of toys so they want to capitalize on it like they would Gundam. Just my guess tho idk

considering Geass is an entirely original and 100% unsourced project/franchise... i would blame the team that runs it/owns it BEFORE i get grumpy at Sunrise or Bandai. that 'project' that was going to keep Geass going hasn't made ANY waves in the 'international anime news' other than 1 announcement that had the hand-drawn line-art teaser visual. that's IT, no director assigned, no production committee names, no writers, no music artists, nada. zip. zlilch. zero. personally, i would consider that 'new Geass project' dead in the water till some news pops up somewheres.

just an ol school otaku enjoyin the life. don't sass me kiddies, i've been otaku probably since before you were born. leave me in peace and i won't bother you either.
