Differences between the anime and the game?

Of course the game is better, it has more story elements and you will learn much more about the Charakters (it’s like 60+hours long with all side content) and I think it’s the best tales of game.

So if you think about playing it, it’s still worth it even after watching the anime. It through it was better because of it.
