based on the synopsis it seems like it'll be fun. I laugh at the thought of a bunch of vtubers getting drunk on steam and just forgetting their persona, saying whatever lol

Have read the light novel but dropped it after a chapter because it wasn't my thing

imo if you have interest in a work that pokes fun of vtubing, by all means add this to your watchlist and look out for it. It approaches the industry at a unique and unorthodox (to say the least) angle and might have potential to turn out well.

However as with all adaptations I'm not hoping for much simply due to the looming possibility that it's gonna flop ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

I wonder what art style they will use. Kinda worried all the characters will just be cute anime girls, both as vtubers and in real life, which somewhat defeats the purpose if both worlds have the same style.

I'm not saying they need a hyper-realistic style for the real world, would be kinda funny if everyone IRL looked like Shin-chan characters or whatever. I just would like a stark contrast.

I personally really liked the LN. When I first read it I was really surprised at how often I was dying of laughter so I am hyped for the anime :) hope it gets a good adaptation

@Gegenschein I think the best way to go about it would be showing the irl stuff like a normal anime and have the vtuber stuff be done like an actual vtuber's stream.
