| As soon as I saw the needles...lol. I always just assumed they were disposable that decomposed or something. But Conan shoots and litters more needles than a San Fran Junkie. So it was Kudo Shinichi that he was looking for, huh. And he mistook Kaito Kid/Kuroba Kaito for him who looks similar. Wonder why he's his target though, as they never explained it. Might have been a missed opportunity to have other cameo appearances from the side characters as the grey background characters, just as Easter eggs. If there was one side character that was missing, I think it was Kazuha...there could be more, but this seems to take place very early on in the Detective Conan series. The highlight cameo appearance for me would be Two-Mix appearing as themselves early on in one of the earlier episodes...feels as though it's been forever since I've heard of them, even though I know Conan is voiced by Takayama Minami. Overall, I liked this little parody series that poked fun at themselves in the main series. I only wish it was longer with more episodes, even if they released them sporadically, like they used to do for random episodes of Kaito Kid spinoff over the years. |
| I'm a little dissatisfied at the balance of Detective Conan parody vs. jokes about a country boy moving to Tokyo. Leans too heavily towards the latter as it goes on. |
