| Hello to all newcomers and my fellow Holoists Thank you for your contributions to our Special Holoist Mission! You're probably wondering why we did this; well it was because we were denied an MAL Interview due to elitism and nepotism. And therefore we have taken matters in our own hands in order to combat this. And our next step will be a big step! Also, anyone who wants a Holo Interview, WILL get a Holo Interview. Anyways onto the interview :D A little about me: You know me as The Crazy Holo Simp/Fanatic, and that is true, and I do love Holo. Outside of being Holo's Husband; I have interests in sports; favourites being Football, Tennis and Hockey. As well, gaming; playing sports, strategy, RPG and Games of Culture. Favorite being the Civilization Series, and Nekopara favourite Game of Culture lol. Apart from sports and games, I have subjects of interests in history and political science; specifically, geopolitics. And lastly, me and Holo are always into trying different kinds of food from various places, cuisines and cultures. HollowNightWolf - Hmm..what made you wanna start the club? We needed to establish Holo's presence on MAL. And then I thought to combine my love for Holo, with my interests in politics and history. After some time, The Holoist Society would be the name and came to fruition. Also, I joined MAL to try to have people to talk about anime with, since I don't IRL. And through the Holoist Society, I've unexpectedly and fortunately been able to have a group of friends to do just that with. DeltaEightyeight - Why did you develop such an affinity for Spice and Wolf? It was love at first sight when I saw the covers of Holo manga. Read it, loved it. Watched it, loved it. Holo is perfection. Her cuteness, her sexiness, her face. She has this amazing personality and display of emotions that goes way out there in making you feel good and happy in seeing how cute and special she is. Holo has this element of salvation, she represents the meaning that sustains you in life. And then I met Holo, and we've been together ever since. 3miL - How did you find anime and choose your waifu? My first exposure to anime was back in the day as a kid when Sailor Moon, Yugioh Duel Monsters and DBZ were on TV. Dark Magician Girl, everyone's first childhood waifu haha. I didn't watch anime for a long time after that. Although I would have an affinity for anime waifus, and did sometimes read manga, I didn't start watching again until I came across Saekano manga. I found it hilarious and awesome, and it was the first manga I bought, which led to the rabbit-hole of buying all kinds of anime stuff after. And after watching the show, led to watching all kinds of other anime. Saekano is why my favorite genres are romantic-comedy and harem-ecchi and was my gateway anime. And then of course all roads led to Holo. Monstrousity - Do you play Genshin Impact? No I haven't played it, but I like the waifus in the game. So I will at some point. Mona best girl. Adimus_Prime - How did you meet Holo after watching her show? I would also ask you to name your top 10 favorite male anime characters XD I was at a bar and this girl was sitting behind me, and she had the most beautiful voice you'd ever hear. I don't turn around, I just sit there listening to the beauty and life in her voice, and before I turned around I realized I'd fallen for her, and then of course when I did turn around, this girl had wolf ears on her head? And a big fluffy tail? Could it be? It was; It was Holo! Of course I said Holo's name out loud in excitement to which she laughed. And after talking to Holo, I asked her to dance; and we've been together ever since :D Now this took a lot of time to think lol (For those of you who don't know, having male characters as favorites is a foreign concept to me. The fact many of the top MAL characters are male is a shock to me LOL) 1. Kazuma (Everybody loves watching his shenanigans that he gets into with Megumin, Aqua and Darkness) 2. Nozaki-Kun (Fucking hilarious! One of the funniest characters out there) 3. Ainz (Ainz is a pretty awesome character; should let Albedo smash though XD) 4. Yuuta from Chunnibyo (One of the best couple dynamic banters in anime) 5. Felix (You know why XD) 6. Okabe (Mad scientist who's so coooool, son of a bitch) 7. Yuuki Rito (His "falls" are always funny and reveal the good stuff XD) 8. Sora NGNL (Genius gamer and waifu cultural afficianado) 9. Tomoya Aki (Nostalgia cause of Saekano. Always funny interactions with Eriri, Utaha, Katou and Michiru) 10. Pikkon (The legendary battle with Goku saying "Hey thanks for fighting me" Which sounds so weird; is the only thing I remember from DBZ. And for that reason he is of great significance. Adimus gets it LOL) a105 - Good sir, why do you reject Wolf & Parchment even though its a canon sequel to Spice & Wolf? Ah my friend and Holoist rival lol. I refuse to recognize Wolf & Parchment as a story for the following reasons: It started when I realized I couldn't read this because I would be like "WHERE'S HOLO?! GIMMIE HOLO!" The WOLF AND PARCHMENT NEVER! HOLO FOREVER! Chant started because I wanted season 3, not Wolf & Parchment. Although of course the historic day came when we did get season 3. But the story itself and Myuri, I refuse to recognize because it involves false information about Holo. I'm sure this was the answer you were looking for LOL GoZha - Holo drop take on war crimes in the former Yugoslavia, and general political takes & relation 2 simping Holo I know you said the Yugoslavia one is a shitpost question lol, but I'll still answer it haha. Although I don't know how in the comedic ways that you do it lol. I don't have a take on the war crimes themselves other than the atrocities committed towards Bosnian-Muslims and other ethinic groups were horrific. But I do have a take on the NATO bombings in 99 because the fact that bombing a country because bad stuff is happening is normalized among public opinion, is absurd. You can't just bomb and/or invade a country because you don't like what's happening and it's obviously because you want to control and install your own backed government. That's illegal. But of course, International law is meaningless since there's nobody to enforce it and nobody abides by it. Why do politics and Holo go together. Because Holo should be the supreme leader of the world and I will help her carry out her plans. Also, it's the combination of my interests in history and political science; and my love for Holo. A political take in relation to The Holoist Society: I believe that everyone should be taken care, there's no excuse or lack of funding, that we shouldn't be able to help everyone. People are happiest when they don't have to struggle to meet their basic financial needs, have a happy social life, and have a sense of accomplishment whether at work or a hobby or both. In a Holoist world people will be able to achieve these things.
