| I'm just completely in love with this series. There's something so whimsical and magical about this short that I can't quite put my finger on. It's the comforting loneliness of the outer space of Super Mario Galaxy, the twinkle-star pastel style of Kirby, the fantasy of The Legend of Zelda all combined. Almost certainly going to be my AOTY, and probably will be my favorite anime of all time at this rate. |

| It seems like this series is an episodic anime about various characters going into the night world and facing their issues, with the night world acting as a sort of magical therapy and Yoru gently nudging them towards their resolution without outright forcing them to do so. I like this approach. Plus, it helps that Yoru never goes out of his way to force his opinions or feelings onto the people who enter his world, just offering philosophical advice and accepting the wards' feelings as valid. |
| So, Aimer's Fluximation basically, although far more elaborate. |
