What happened to the quality of voice acting?

I normally watch shows subbed for better voice acting, but Fate/Zero had such a good Dub that I watched it that way.
But for some reason the quality of the dubbing absolutely plummets between Zero S2 and this prologue. Did something happen to cause this? Does it get better over time? Everyone sounds so robotic and lifeless
