Hi, I'm looking for anime with intelligent, sarcastic MC who have "everything in control". Also he could have some hidden motives.
Something like Kiyotaka Ayanokouji from Classroom of the Elite.
I like MC like Azusagawa Sakuta from Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai, Hikigaya Hachiman from Oregairu or Oreki Houtarou from Hyouka.
I'm counting on you.

Glad you liked One Outs, that's what I was going into this thread ready to recommend, lol. I don't think I can recommend anime that fit both the qualification of the MC being sarcastic and also having everything in control. Sorry about that.

Try the Black Jack OVA. Episodic mystery about a genius surgeon, and it happens to be one of the better depictions of high intelligence in anime. Black Jack isn't very sarcastic, though.

I'm also surprised you haven't watched Steins;Gate 0 yet. Even if you're worried about it hindering your enjoyment of Steins;Gate, it's still worth it. I rated it only 1 point lower than the original. However, the whole point of this one is that Okabe doesn't have everything in control.

I also recommend Monster. Again, genius surgeon, and the whole show is (at least for the most part) similar to Death Note in terms of tone. The MC can be a bit of a Gary Stu, but the show is extremely enjoyable nonetheless. For the "in control" aspect, this anime kind of fits because it's about the MC taking control of his own life.

Finally, you may like Gankutsuou. Unfortunately, the protagonist is a typical spineless and terribly written teenage boy. Just like me, though, you'll probably really like the Count of Monte Cristo. I won't say more because it'll spoil, but the Count is cunning, intelligent, and above all else, contemptuous.

The Promised Neverland is exactly what you're looking for but if you've already watched that here are some other that I can think of:

• One Punch Man
• Durarara!!
• No Game no Life
• Somali and the Forest Spirit
• Devilman Crybaby

I highly recommend you all of them and I tried to include some where the MC is intellegent with a hidden motive and have everything under control like you asked for.
