| What the heck is going on! I get the 3 year timeskip, but what's going on with Oka's feelings for Munakata? Also what's up with random illness that wasn't even a factor in S1? So many questions, I guess the manga probably explains more about what has happened in between these two seasons. |
| Guess this is an alternative version where Munaka is still alive,since he actually died at the end of the 1979 movie. Well,pretty good start and the art improved once again. |

| Pretty good OP. Animation is as good as the movie, which I heavily appreciate. Seems kinda like watching the movie was unnecessary, since we pulled an Ashita no Joe 2, and turned back the clock to redo some events, including diagnosing Munakata with... well, it'll be (It better be) revealed during the next episode. Not sure how I feel about Katsura monk man, whoever he is, seems a bit weird introducing such an unusual character. I'd say this was a good episode, 4/5. |
