I thought it'd be better if we had a thread topic here, having all the information in one place, since placing stuff in the comments section will be pushed down the page eventually.

Weekly Countdown Videos to the Movie release
These videos are released every Saturday at 12am JST, and for those playing the mobile game, there is a 1 loveca stone login bonus to accompany this.
I am glad that I can watch the movie in Sydney Australia with only a ~3 month delay, compared to how long we may have to wait for the BD release. The PV released has indeed increased my hype, lol. And great to see that we will be getting more music through those 3 movie singles in July!
Anyone want to predict how high the movie gross will be, and how high the movie will sell in BDs/DVDs?
For reference, the Idolmaster movie did 773 milllion yen, the K-ON! movie did 1.9 billion yen, while the Madoka movie 3 did 2.08 billion yen. The Idolmaster movie sold at least 77,964 BD+DVDs, the K-ON! movie sold at least 165,784 BD+DVDs, and the Madoka Movie 3 sold at least 185,545 BD+DVDs. I believe Love Live! will beat Idolmaster easily as the fanbase is much much bigger, but beating K-ON! and Madoka may be a big challenge indeed.

I think it's kind of funny that despite Attack on Titan's massive popularity here in Australia that Love Live is the one getting the special movie screening. Not that I'm complaining because I hate this new trend of recap movies and I like Love Live way more than Titan.
At SMASH last year I actively looked out for Love Live cosplayers and I all I saw was one girl dressed up as Nico (Although I also saw a girl dressed up as Sena from Haganai singing Aishiteru Banzai in the karaoke room).
I think it's kind of nuts that such a niche series is getting the same treatment usually reserved for Ghibli, DBZ or other popular stuff like Madoka. But hey, I get to see the Love Live movie with English subtitles only months after the Japanese release right here in Sydney! It's like a dream come true!
You have no idea how many times I've seen 'World Tours' where the bands don't even stop in Australia. I was actually really surprised that we were on the list. Although leaving out the entirety of Europe is an oversight to say the least.
I would love to see 'Wonderful Rush' reanimated in the movie. I like the PV but I want it reanimated in the movie like what they did to 'Snow Halation' last season.
I wonder why there were no mentions of any European countries for "World Screening". I was surprised that Australia is part of that "World Screening". Popular/Big names animes are the only ones that gets to screen here and I'm not sure if Love Live! is that popular here. I don't go to conventions that's why I have no idea if the franchise is that popular. But I'm happy that we're part of the "World Screening', atleast I will have the opportunity to watch the show on big screen rather than wait for the BD to come out then wait for fan subs to sub the movie like what happened to im@s movie.
Waiting for the K-ON Movie to be subbed was similarly painful, but that was before screening anime movies at cinemas prior to their home video release (Other than Ghibli) became a thing. I'm not too gutted though because I still got to see the K-ON Movie at the cinema later that year in November (Which was awesome)
Idolm@ster is one of those franchises that would probably be super expensive to license but wouldn't give much in return. I thought Love Live would be the same thing but unlike Im@s it seems like the people up in Japan are actively reaching out to us themselves.
I mean with Idolm@ster all you've got is the anime adaptation on Crunchyroll (Not available where I live), Cinderella Girls (Which isn't a very good show) on Daisuki, an overpriced barebones sub only DVD release of Xenoglossia by Sentai Filmworks, an affordably priced sub only DVD release of Puchim@s by Funimation and a WAY overpriced iOS spinoff game.
With Love Live you can watch both seasons on Crunchyroll and AnimeLab, see the movie at the cinema, play a localised version of School Idol Festival, import the Blu-rays with English subtitles or even buy the series from a local distributor. Not to mention we've even got an English dub coming up soon which is something Im@s is never, ever going to get.
I was hoping for a screening in Belfast or Dublin but unfortunately no. There's not even one in London so I am probably not going to see it anytime soon -.-
I will watch it online when it comes out though, although it probably won't have subs for a long time, I'll probably still watch it just for fun.
bubbleclouds said: does the global version will also receiving lovecas?
I don't think so. One of my friends playing both JP and EN, didn't say anything about the EN game getting any. It's the same thing when the 2nd season anime was airing... the JP game got a loveca every single week for that period, while the EN game didn't.
However it could be possible that they could give loveca at a later date, since the overseas screenings of the movie does not start until 2 months after the showing in Japan. The loveca giveaways started when there was 9 weeks to the movie in Japan.

Pile's countdown video message to mark 6 weeks until the LL movie is out in Japan. It is also her 27th birthday today, so it is probably no coincidence she was the one giving the message today, lol.

Yep, every Saturday at 12am JST. Sora (Nico), Yurika (Hanayo), Aina (Nozomi), Pile (Maki), and Riho (Rin), have so far handled the weekly countdown videos to the movie, with Yoshinon (Eli), Mimorin (Umi), Aya (Kotori), and Emi (Honoka) are left.

The Madoka Rebellion screening I went to last year in Sydney had a greeting from the seiyuu before the movie started. I wonder if they'll do anything like that for the western screenings.
I wonder how was the movie. I'm trying to stay away on social media at the moment to avoid possible spoilers. September can't come any closer! I'm already itching to watch the movie.
this message is long overdue in time, the film has already been shown, it has already been disbanded, but despite the ending that just thinking about it makes me want to cry because of how much it moved me, for me it is the great moment of the muses, it was when they became became legends.
